LIPOSUCTION +
Liposuction is a technique used to remove and sculpt areas where unwanted fatty deposits exist that cannot be addressed with diet or exercise alone.
Many patients choose liposuction to give a more even shape and contour to their body by removing the stubborn areas of fat through suction, typically around the stomach, thighs, buttocks, hips and arms.
It is important to understand that Liposuction is not a technique used for weight loss, although it can be combined with a healthy lifestyle to get the best outcome possible.
ABDOMINOPLASTY +
Abdominoplasty, more commonly known as a 'tummy tuck', is a surgical procedure designed to remove excess skin and fat from the middle and lower abdomen. It can also improve muscle tightness and skin tone especially after multiple pregnancies or dramatic weight loss where skin has been stretched on the abdomen.
You may choose to undergo abdominoplasty for many reasons:
• To remove a large fat deposit
• To remove loose abdominal skin
• To improve skin elasticity if you are an older patient
• To improve your muscle and skin tone after multiple pregnancies
LABIAPLASTY +
Labiaplasty is a female genital cosmetic procedure sometimes referred to as a ‘Designer Vagina’, surgery is performed to correct the appearance of enlarged or extending Labia Minora and/or Labia Majora.
Many women become aware following their pubescent years in their lives of personal concerns relating to their genitalia, in some cases the wearing of tight- or close-fitting clothes can become uncomfortable and sexual experience lowered due to body confidence. Some patients may choose to have a Labiaplasty as the area has changed size or shape following childbirth or the natural ageing of the skin has caused it to lose tone or appear larger. The overall goal following surgery is to address those concerns, to correct the appearance of the area and to allow the patient to regain body confidence and increase self esteem.
GYNECOMASTIA +
The Male Breast Reduction is carried out to correct the appearance of enlarged breasts in males commonly referred to as ‘man boobs’ and medically known as Gynaecomastia. The condition is often linked to obesity however there are several possible causes including a hormone imbalance, the intake of certain medication and of course medical predisposition. In the same way that some women have larger breasts than others, males do too.
The condition itself is caused by an excess of either glandular proliferation or fatty tissue and in some cases both. The aim of the surgery is to create a better male breast shape and symmetrical chest contour with minimal scarring.
ARM LIFT +
Brachioplasty or Arm Lift surgery is a procedure designed to remove excess and sagging skin from the upper arms often referred to as ‘Bingo Wings’.
The difficulty with loose upper arm skin is that virtually the only treatment involves surgery. Women will very diligently go to the gym to try and tone their upper arms through exercise and weight-lifting but invariably this makes little difference.
Ageing and Weight Loss particularly as a result of bariatric surgery (Weight Loss Surgery) can leave patients feeling conscious of their upper arms. Our goal is to create a more natural, toned area by removing the unwanted excess skin to achieve tighter and smoother upper arms.
THIGH LIFT +
Thigh Lift surgery is a procedure designed to remove excess and sagging skin from the thighs. Loose skin on the inner thigh is commonly seen in those who have lost significant amounts of weight in a relatively short period of time.
Ageing and weight loss particularly as a result of bariatric surgery (Weight Loss Surgery) can leave patients feeling conscious of their body, our goal is to create a more natural, toned area by removing the unwanted excess skin.
BODY LIFT +
The Body Lift procedure is designed to remove skin and lift the breasts, abdomen, buttocks and thighs. It would usually be carried out as part of the Abdominoplasty and is common for patients who have undergone excessive weight loss as the result of Bariatric Surgery to require a Body Lift.
The goal of the Body Lift is to give patients who have undergone dramatic weight loss the body they have always wanted to achieve. Once weight Loss is complete patients can be left with drooping and sagging skin which can make choosing clothes difficult. It can be uncomfortable, can lead to skin irritation and can affect self-confidence. The removal of skin will result in a more shapely and contoured body which should heighten self-esteem and body image.
FAT TRANSFER +
Fat Transfer is a procedure designed for people wishing to restore volume or shape to areas that lack or have lost definition. Some people may naturally lack definition, others may lose volume as a result of weight loss or pregnancy. Fat Transfer can help create a more shapely and natural looking appearance.
Fat Transfer can help achieve a long-lasting result by removing fat from one area of the body and effectively transferring it to another. This procedure is often used around the breast, buttock, cheek and lip areas to create a more aesthetically pleasing contour and voluminous shape.
POST BARIATRIC SURGERY +
Post Bariatric Surgery is the medical term used for the corrective cosmetic procedures carried out following Weight Loss Surgery. Losing excess weight is a huge achievement however patients who have lost substantial amounts of weight quickly are often left with unwanted, sagging skin that no longer fits their smaller and thinner frame and therefore requires further surgery to remove.
Our goal for patients who have undergone Bariatric Surgery is to help complete those final stages of the transformation.
There are several contouring procedures available which are carried out using specialist techniques than those performed on patients who have not undergone Weight Loss Surgery.
